Khali Cue — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

Khali Cue, operated by Techware Outsourcing, is a WhatsApp-based personal assistant offering reminders, a calendar morning brief, and AI chat. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

How we use it

Solely to provide the service you signed up for: deliver reminders, answer your messages, and generate your daily brief. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Google & Microsoft calendar data

We request read-only calendar access and use it only to show you a summary of your own upcoming events. Khali Cue's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer this information to others except as needed to provide the feature, and never for advertising or to train AI/ML models.

Service providers

We rely on trusted processors to operate Khali Cue: Meta (WhatsApp message delivery), Cloudflare (hosting), and OpenAI (to generate replies and briefs). They process data only on our behalf, under their own terms.

Security

Calendar access tokens are encrypted at rest, all traffic is over HTTPS, and your data is isolated to your verified phone number. We keep only what's needed and expire transient data.

Your rights

You can disconnect a calendar or delete your account at any time — message Khali, or revoke access in your Google/Microsoft account security settings. On request we will delete your personal data, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
